Installation BWTS – BALLAST WATER TREATMENT SYSTEMS
Installation of BWTS for the cargo vessel called “Cuera” for fulfilling all the regulations mentioned in the INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION FOR THE CONTROL AND MANAGEMENT OF SHIPS’ BALLAST WATER AND SEDIMENTS, 2004, AND ITS SUBSEQUENT AMENDMENTS AND CLARIFICATIONS, and which establishes that this vessel must comply with at least Regulation D-2 of this Convention.
In order to comply with this International regulation, we have installed a BALLAST WATER TREATMENT SYSTEM CERTIFIED BY IMO AND USCG, MANUFACTURER ALFA LAVAL TYPE PUREBALLAST 3.2 300 COMPACT FLEX, ULTRAVIOLET TYPE, with a maximum capacity of water treatment of 300 m3/h
