9. Carpentry warehouse / Joiner´s workshop

Building having an area of 539,51 m2 intended to made furniture for high-standard type ships (galley, mesh room furniture, cabins, sick bay, waiting rooms, bridges, etc.), works carried out using high-standard woods (oak, teak…).

Provided with:

-    Band saw

-    Cepilladora

-    Tupi

-    Planning machine

-    Thicknessing machine

-    Mitering machine

-    Different fittings for the developpment of its fuctions and other tools

In order to be friendly with the environment, a conduct system to each machine have been implemented, system which exhausts the sawdust and shaving carrying them to a general manifold which, in turn, discharges to a workshop located outside.

At the zone opposite to the entrance, approx. at one third from the end, a mezzanine has been fitted where the finished pieces are stowed until they are carried to destination.
